Vehicle & Component Delivery & Collection
We will call you to arrange a suitable collection time usually the day before. If we are collecting your vehicle from a garage we will contact them directly and inform you when it arrives with us. If a vehicle is in a stripped or semi-stripped state it is your responsibility to make sure all components are with the vehicle when collected and that any outstanding bills are settled.
Our transport team will contact you on the day of collection with an approximate time of arrival. The recovery driver will then contact you when they are approximately 1 hour away from arrival for your convenience. If you are being delivered a courtesy vehicle the driver will need to see a copy of your driving license and insurance details.

If you have a courtesy vehicle this will need to be collected from the same destination as delivery. Please note vehicles will not be delivered back until payment has been confirmed. If you have taken the payment plan option, the person named on the agreement must be available to sign the agreement.
Engine Centre aim to despatch all stock items same day for UK delivery if orders are processed before 1pm. Non-stock items will usually be delivered within 2-7 working days dependent on our suppliers. International shipping orders will be despatched within 2 working days and delivery times will vary dependent on destination country.
All orders are despatched via UK carriers and in most cases order tracking will be available. We recommend a contact number be supplied for the recipient in case the carrier needs to contact them. All orders must be signed for by the recipient or an authorised signatory. In the event of a failed delivery a charge may be applied by the carrier.
No matter what part of the world you are in we can deliver to you. Delivery charges will be confirmed prior to your order being processed. We offer an export assistance service for Non-EU exports where we can help you with the required paperwork involved for VAT exemption purposes. Customs or import duty may be charged when your goods reach the country of destination. We recommend you investigate any potential charges prior to placing your order. All components destined for air or sea freight may require special packaging. We can advise, assist and will accommodate all requirements. Our components are shipped ‘dry’ with all lubricants removed.
Collections from our warehouse
Customers are welcome to collect goods directly from our premises, same day if required. We have full loading facilities including gantry cranes and forklift trucks. Our staff will be happy to help and collections should be confirmed by telephone prior to arrival to ensure the goods are picked and packaged correctly. Visitors are required to wear Hi-Viz clothing when entering our collections area.
Return of goods incorrectly supplied or faulty can be arranged by contacting our customer services department on 02920 451919 who will be happy to assist you. Goods supplied correctly which are no longer required may be returned at our discretion subject to a surcharge. Carriage charges are unable to be refunded and return delivery charges must be borne by the customer for goods correctly supplied.
