Engine Centre are based in Cardiff but cover the whole of the UK responding to the needs of our customers. We also offer an extended recovery service for Ireland and Europe and can export ‘supply only’ components for export internationally.
We are one of the largest suppliers of engines, gearboxes, cylinder heads and turbochargers in the UK and boast one of the largest workshop facilities. We have over 40 employees many of whom are expert mechanics and technically proficient in their field.
We understand that a failed engine, gearbox or turbo is usually an unexpected expensive repair. That’s why we do our best to make the whole process as simple as possible. We will collect or recover your vehicle free of charge throughout the UK (Scotland, Ireland & Europe at additional cost). We can also offer an interest free payment option to help spread the cost (subject to status & credit check) and we do not require payment until the job is completed, unlike our competitors. All this is backed by a full 12 month / 20,000 mile warranty.
Our main workshop features 20 vehicle lifts and state-of-the-art machinery. Our diagnostic department has an inventory of various main dealer equivalent diagnostic equipment worth more than £200,000. As we cover all makes & marques it is imperative that we have the correct equipment and technical knowledge to correctly diagnose, repair and programme many of the latest systems that control your vehicle. Most garages only have basic equipment which can reset service lights etc. These are not sufficient to correctly interrogate and configure the modern systems of today and can cause damage to your vehicle.
We have a fleet of 7 recovery trucks which cover the country daily.
Our customer base comprises of private vehicle owners, small business owners right up to major fleet operators and most vehicle warranty and insurance companies. We typically repair vehicles at around a third of the cost of that of a main dealer and generally 80% faster. We usually turn around the majority of vehicles in 7-10 days.
